WJPA and TEC

Community Activists of The Woodlands, Texas (CATW) has learned that ANOTHER Director/Trustee (D/T) from The Woodlands Joint Power Agency (WJPA) may be investigated by the Texas Ethics Commission (TEC). This is one of the lists of D/T's.

All of the directors of The Woodlands Joint Powers Agency and all of the MUDs have filled out the correct paper work for the elections. This is all a misunderstanding. The Texas Ethics is in possession of all of their paper work.

Anonymous, please explain the misunderstanding. Per the TEC, you are able to discuss this information.

The problem is the MUD directors, when they got their job (by getting 4 family members or friends to vote for them) didn't think they'd have to do anything but show up for meetings and collect their checks.
File a campaign finance form? Yikes! Too difficult for this crew!
JPA staff probably helped the unethical board members figure out the ethics complaints against them and submitted the responses to TEC for them.
Anonymous 1 won't be able to respond to Joe's request to explain the misunderstanding; A1 will have to ask JPA staff to visit the CATW site and chime in.
It'll be at least Monday before we hear.
