Well Bruce.... you have done your stint and screwed up royally. You have had your fingers in too many public pies and it is time to go. NOW

If you can not read the tea leaves let me explain there are more than 17 times as many people that think you should leave as stay. most election victories are considered a landslide with a ratio of 2 to 1, but 17 to 1 is more like a burial and no one will remember your name much less what ever you think you did.... they will remember with 17 to 1 what you did not do, what you took and what we could have had.

Time to go before any more damage is done....

Didn't Bruce Tough win re-election a few months ago?

Evidently your latest comment was from someone who does not read the news. Someone who was not present at the poll. Someone who didn’t see someone we know, who voted outside their area and no one questioned it. Someone who does not realize that Tough is the Chairman of the organization that put on the vote, had control of the ballots, counted the votes, and published the results. Someone who did not hear Audra Koster state that they did not have an up to date homeowners list. Someone who does not know that the same Board that Tough is Chairman of, refused to let someone from the Clergy, handle the voting box. Someone please fix some Kool Aid!

I accidently came across this blog and just wanted you to know what a person from the outside looking in thinks....shame on you for publishing a photo of what appears to be someone's home telephone number and you sound like a poor excuse for a human being who has nothing better to do with his time than seek some type of revenge or retribution because you didn't get your way. I think it would be interesting and prove extremely eye opening if we started to scrutinize this Merrill and Donnelly person the way they do Tough. I bet we will find that old saying that people who throw stones shouldn't live in glass houses....especially, Donnelly. By the way, I don't live in The Woodlands and I don't know either of you and wouldn't if you came up to me on the street...so you should imagine what actual people in The Woodlands who have the unfortunate pleasure of being your neighbors must think. STALKERS is the nicest of what I was thinking. I am sure this post won't be approved but the petty person who runs this blog will read it and that is enough for me. GET A LIFE and QUIT WISHING YOU HAD SOMEONE ELE'S

Relax everyone.... The Tough's number is public information. If they didn't want everyone to have it then it wouldn't be on caller ID! Write whitepages.com a letter.

Anonymous, Thanks for your comments. We are glad to see people from "the outside looking in" since what happens in The Woodlands affects the entire region. God Bless

At least the rest of us are not afraid to post our names. If you don’t know us, post your name. Yes I am ashamed, that you’re just another gutless wonder. If you think your right, stand up and be counted. If I had to guess, you do know us, and you’re afraid that your neighbors may not agree with you, and chastise you. Stand up and be a man, or have some more Kool Aid. Nobody is going to bite you for standing up for what you believe in. I’ve done it in two wars, what have you done?

CATW encourages posting comments, even if it's anonymous, so I'm glad the comment was approved.
Anonymous put a lot of effort into trying to convince everyone that he/she doesn't know myself or Mike.

First, I am female and not a male. Second, I chose to remain anonymous not because I am gutless but because I don't feel like becoming one of your unfortunate targets. I have now had the opportunity to look at the various blogs and websites that you and Mr. Merrill run and/or post on. Just from your writings one can see what type of people you both are. You clearly lack the ability to refrain from personal attacks and vendettas against others. The time and effort that you and Mr. Merrill put forward is nothing short of extraordinary. Well outside the realm of something normal people would do. Even from those who truly do care and want what is best for their community, which in this case I sincerely doubt. You use the stance that you are just trying to better The Woodlands when in fact that is just a disguise and ruse that you use. If you really cared about The Woodlands you wouldn’t spend your every waking moment trying to bring everyone who has any association in the running of it down. Considering all the time and energy you have spent, which seems like every waking moment either of you have, I can’t believe what little substance you have actually have come up with.

Finally, and just for the record, I DO NOT KNOW and HAVE NEVER MET either Mr. Merrill or Mr. Donnelly. I am not related to anyone who holds office in The Woodlands, nor am I in any way associated with the running of The Woodlands. I did live in The Woodlands for 2 years up until last summer and I still do work for some businesses in The Woodlands. However, none of my work is political in nature. I simply was running searches for my own community and thought I would start with some searches based on The Woodlands since it is such a nice community. There is nothing more to it than that, I am not a part of some conspiracy nor am I one of your adversaries pretending to be someone else. Despite what you think.

I only came across your websites and then followed the links to various blogs because the community I live in, which is newer, was looking for some guidance on setting up our own sites for its residence. What did we learn from what we found on your websites and blogs...exactly what not to do. I truly feel sorry for the people of The Woodlands and am thankful that our community doesn’t have to deal with the likes of you two. I could go on but I know that it would be pointless. You will just keep on keeping on with your nonsense regardless of how wrong your are or who you hurt. You lack the ability to stop, it is the core of your psyches.

Oh and don’t think I didn’t notice that the first anonymous response went up 15-20 minutes before my post. Clearly, whoever posted it is a moderator and/or runs the site.

Anonymous,

You are well written and I expect a good person. If you indeed don’t know us or have never met us, and you don’t live in The Woodlands, then your speaking without knowledge of the situation. I have known Tough for almost 15 years, we are neighbors. For you to take Tough’s side, without any background, in my perspective, is wrong. I spent my whole adult life in the military and as a police officer. Tough is a lawyer, my wife is a lawyer. It would be shame if I had stopped you on the street and arrested you for a crime, because I believed you were guilty. No background on what you did, who you were, or where you had been. This problem has been going on for years, and we have gathered enough information that Mr. Tough and some others are in trouble with the State. I appreciate your feelings, and have fought and bled so that you could express them freely. If I hadn’t had to retire from police work do to injuries suffered in Iraq, I would gladly arrest and prosecute someone who violated your rights under the law, to include, stalking. But I would not arrest that person unless I had enough information to believe he was possibly guilty.
Watch the news, read the paper, look in the back of The Texas Bar Journal. There are lots of politicians, lawyers, and even cops committing crimes, or violating the rules set down by the state of Texas. In fact, a former Harris County Deputy is set to be executed tonight. I have lived in Texas all my life, (more than 50 years), and I would never do what I am doing now, If I didn’t have the proof for what we are printing. We have been working on this for years, not just a few days. We don’t spend all day doing this, Joe has a job, and I spend most of my time rehabilitating and visiting doctors. I merely have a strong belief in The Rule of Law, and no one is above it, including me.

By the way, let me inform you that a lot of women have made the ultimate sacrifice in both of the wars I fought in. We lost a 24 year old mother of one on our security team. If you are not past 41 you can join the Army. Stand up and be counted, I did, how about you.

Anonymous,

I forgot one other thing. I am well liked in The Woodlands, and well respected by many. I have been featured on FOX here and in Washington D.C. for my accomplishments. I have been honored many times, by my neighbors, police agencies, and the military. I have spoken before many groups in The Woodlands, by invitation. Know who I am before you condemn me. I like you, am expressing my beliefs.

Semper FI!

To be honest I wasn't really taking anyone's side per se. I was siding with what I saw from reading all the blogs and webpages. They left me with the impression that initiated the original response. I am open to other possibilities and being wrong. I would certainly be open to getting your side of the situation so maybe I can understand where you are coming from. I come from a military family and have a brother in law in over there now, so I can certainly give you the benefit of the doubt and see what else you have to say. I would however prefer not to do it in postings if you know what I mean.
