Montgomery County Precinct Three Constable Tim Holifield issued $2000 fine by The Texas Ethics Commission.


The Texas Ethics Commission met on June 9, 2009, to consider sworn complaint SC-2806249. A quorum of the commission was present. The commission determined that there is credible evidence of violations of sections 254.031(a)(6) and 254.031(a)(8) of the Election Code, laws administered and enforced by the commission. To resolve and settle this complaint without further proceedings, the commission proposed this resolution to the respondent. Holifield was issued a $2000.00 fine.

why is it we dont just get a little fine but they do? why is it okay for them to break the law and still walk free? like the Texas Takedoen Case, if i had done any one thing of which they did, i would ha e been arrested. Its clear that what they are doing,is against the law but we still end up paying for it with county money provided by us.
